What does this mean? (kinda important)?

i have 5 goats. they are all guys except one. the girl is very short and had a baby last month. the baby is healthy and beautiful and active. we think the daddy may be the one that tried to mount her a few times in front of us. but he is bigger than the others. we have been told he had W.D. when he was smaller. and when we first got him he would kinda charge in front of us and hed hide behind a bush. and when we get to close he would go behind another. he hasnt done that in a while. but he started running again but he doesnt hide. and his hair on his back stands up most of the time. could he maybe be protecting the baby? or could he maybe be telling us that thats his territory? or maybe is he jealous? or angry?
