Do you think their marriage will work?

I have two coursemates as friend who wanna get married.we have now graduated and they live together.they have been dating like forever BUT they fight most time.he beats her and she fights back.They fight.he says shes not submisive.she says hes domineering.yet they love each other.2 days ago i went to visit them and all was ok.we were gisting about how to behave in an interview.he gave an opinion and very carelessly she said 'shut up.what do you know?' instantly he flung his phone at her.she picked a tv remote and flung back.he started beating her and i called the neighbors who werent surprised cos they are used to it as i am.how can such people marry?yet they are serious and have set a date after that fight.
