Parents what do you think?

I would never do that myself. My 2 1/2 year old daughter likes to lag behind or stop if she doesn't want to leave a certain place and I will walk ahead of her a bit and say, "Alright Halle, I'm leaving then..." but she runs and catches up with me. I could never get into my car and start to drive away. That's when you teach your child to listen. Well, before it gets to that point.
