Tough situation making a decision. Pls help :(?

for now follow your parents' advice. if your brother in law says he will take care of her you'll just have to trust that he's going to abide by his word. if you go against the grain too soon, it could start a war. an uneccessary one at that. now if he does prove to be inept at taking care of her, then you can come to her defense because her son would then have proved that he is not a good caretaker, and could not wrongly accuse you of thwarting or anything without looking stupid himself. so yeah, wait and see what happens.
