Need help convincing my parents that tattoos are not evil and demonic?

If you really insist on getting the tattoo now, make your parents give you a chance to explain why you want it. Tell them what it means to you, and try to make the tattoo seem as innocent as possible. Usually what I do to convince my mom to take me to the piercing shop is say something along the lines of "if you don't let me get it I'll find a way to get it done myself" which sort of scares her into letting me get it and assures her that I'll be getting the piercing done safely and will be obeying the law. (I know that method can be a little harsh, haha) If you propose the idea of the tattoo to them calmly and maturely, they may be convinced that you're ready to handle it. If they still aren't shaken by whatever you say, best thing is to wait until you're 18. Just a couple more years, right?
