Droid power button ruined, what do I do?

On a road trip, I carelessly but my droid in a cup holder in my car not knowing there was only a half of a centimeter of water that condensed from a soda previously taken out. I forgot about it and went for a swim in my uncles pool. Not only did I not know there was water, but the power button had been soaking in only a few millimeters of water. I tried the rice technique and letting it dry. Nothing worked so I just gave up. Is there anyway to fix it without taking it in somewhere?
